The Lo-Ellen Park Knights delivered a commanding performance on Friday afternoon, overpowering the St. Charles College Cardinals 43-3 in Senior Boys football action. The three-time city champions bounced back from a narrow Week 1 win over Lively with an offensive explosion led by quarterback Noah Parsons, who threw for five touchdown passes.
Wide receivers Quin Mazzuchin and Steven Sola were unstoppable, each scoring two touchdowns. Max Arnold and Jonah Gibson also found the end zone, capping a dominant showing by the Knights’ aerial attack. Luca Cucullo added three point-after touchdowns (PATs) and two rouges, while Sola further sealed the deal with a two-point conversion.
Despite being outmatched, St. Charles managed to avoid a shutout with a Braxton Ragogna field goal, accounting for all of their points.
Lo-Ellen’s offensive dominance was matched by a stifling defense that left the Cardinals struggling to gain any momentum. The win keeps the Knights undefeated in the season, as they continue their quest for another city championship.
With this victory, Lo-Ellen sets their sights on their next challenge—a matchup against the unbeaten Confederation Chargers in Week 3.
