Tristan Imgrund, a Grade 11 student at Bishop Alexander Carter in Hanmer, Ontario, is quickly establishing himself as one of the region’s most promising basketball talents. His impressive stats, leadership on the court, and growing reputation have garnered attention from top-tier basketball programs across North America.
Leading the charge for his high school team, Tristan averages an outstanding 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game. His ability to impact both ends of the court earned him the prestigious title of team MVP, a clear testament to his importance to the squad.
Tristan’s success isn’t limited to school basketball. He also shined with the Sudbury Storm U16 Rep Team, where he posted strong averages of 16.4 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals per game, alongside a per-game plus-minus of +11.7. His performance helped lead the Storm to an Ontario Cup Championship, where he was named the Tournament MVP for his stellar play throughout the competition.
This season, Tristan has taken his talents to the U17 Hoopzone (Toronto), a team he helped guide to victory at the FAAST Late August Bash Championship in Detroit, Michigan. His dedication paid off when he was selected as one of only 15 players in Ontario to attend the Centralized Training for Canada Basketball’s prestigious Centre for Performance program.
